I tried to install the Web-WMI feature using Powershell. The Add-WindowsFeature Web-WMI failed with the error that the referenced assembly could not be found combined with the code 0x80073701.
To fix the issue I have tried the sfc /scannow tool, the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command and the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Startcomponentcleanup command. Those did not lead to success.
Then I checked the CBS.log file, which states that the Package 3821 for KB5001638 has an issue which produces this error code. The package is there and the file Hash looks identical that one of another instance. Then I tried installing KB5001638 and reinstalling KB5000859, but this did not fix the issue as well.
Now I tried to run the .Net Framework repair tool, but this was also not able to fix the error.
Does anyone know how to solve this issues without reinstalling the operating system?
